Overview

BumbleBee Tuner (“the App”) is developed by TopShelfTahoe. This privacy policy describes how the App handles your data.

The short version: we don’t collect any data. Your audio never leaves your device.

Microphone Usage

The App requires microphone access to detect the pitch of your instrument. Audio from the microphone is:

• Processed entirely on your device in real time
• Used only for pitch detection while the App is active
• Never recorded, stored, or saved to disk
• Never transmitted to any server, third party, or external service

When you close the App or stop the tuner, microphone access ends immediately.

Data Collection

BumbleBee Tuner does not collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal information
• Audio recordings
• Usage analytics
• Location data
• Device identifiers
• Any other user data

Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Apple Watch

The Apple Watch companion app performs its own on-device pitch detection using the Watch microphone. The same privacy principles apply: audio is processed locally and never stored or transmitted.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
